Plug-and-Play Packaged Supply
Shelters and Skids for Oil and Solar Industries
We manufacture and supply electrical shelters and skids—plug-and-play packaged substations for the oil and gas industry, mining, and solar projects. Each unit arrives on-site integrated and RETIE 2024 certified by the SIDE laboratory up to 1000 V ACDC, with medium-voltage cells, transformation, panels, metering, and control assembled in a single ready-to-connect unit.
What Electrical Shelters and Skids Solve in a Project
An oil and gas field, a mining front, or a solar farm requires its electrical substation—cells, transformer, panels, and metering—integrated and certified. In packaged format, these components are assembled inside a shelter or a skid and delivered as a single unit, rather than being assembled piece by piece at the project site.
By being manufactured in the plant, the electrical equipment progresses in parallel with site preparation. The skid on a metal structure or the shelter in an electrical room arrives ready to position and interconnect, reducing the civil works associated with an electrical room built piece by piece and shortening the time to energization.
Oil and gas, mining, and solar generation environments impose conditions of dust, solar radiation, humidity, distance, and continuous operation. The enclosure of the shelter or skid is defined according to these conditions, the plant’s power rating, and the project schedule, and the equipment is delivered certified to the voltage level the operation requires.
Supply Components
Components of Electrical Shelters and Skids
Energizar’s scope is the supply of the project’s packaged electrical equipment: we design, manufacture, integrate, and deliver certified shelters and skids, ready for the client’s team to execute on-site assembly and interconnection. The portfolio does not include plant installation or field operation; we deliver the packaged substation that energizes it. These are the supply components, applicable to oil and gas, mining, and solar projects.
Electrical Shelters (Power Houses)
We manufacture and supply electrical shelters—power houses on concrete electrical rooms, also called power houses or e-houses—for projects requiring a robust enclosure and permanent operation. Inside the shelter, we integrate the project’s complete substation, RETIE 2024 certified by the SIDE laboratory up to 1000 V ACDC, and deliver it as a closed unit ready to connect.
Electrical Skids (Plug and Play)
We supply electrical skids—packaged substations on metal structures, plug-and-play type—for projects where assembly speed and deployment in remote sites are priorities. The skid is delivered as an integrated and certified electrical block, sized for the client’s team to position and interconnect without assembling a substation in the field.
Electrical Integration (Transformation, MV, LV, Metering, Control, and Monitoring)
Inside each shelter or skid, we integrate the complete electrical system: transformer, medium-voltage cells, low-voltage panels, metering cabinet, and the control and monitoring elements the project requires. As manufacturers of panels and cells, we integrate the assembly as a single system, sized for the plant’s actual power rating and certified as a unit.
Enclosure Configurations by Environment and Schedule
The enclosure is configured according to the project’s environment and schedule: skid on an open metal structure for agile deployment, or shelter in a concrete electrical room for permanent operation in more demanding environments. The configuration is defined with the client’s team based on site conditions, plant power rating, and delivery times.
Packaged Electrical Substations Manufactured and Integrated in Our Own Plant
Energizar’s scope in these projects is precise: the supply of the shelter and skid solution—not the assembly labor or field or plant operation. We manufacture the complete electrical equipment and integrate it with transformation, medium-voltage cells, panels, metering, and control, with products RETIE 2024 certified by the SIDE laboratory up to 1000 V ACDC. The client’s team executes on-site assembly and interconnection; Energizar is responsible for the equipment with its own warranty and local after-sales service.
